Despite this illustrious beginning, Dawn's song writing skills, quick wit and humor, and rock solid bass lines have become a cornerstone of the band's performances.  Her song “Withlacoochee Way” won first prize at the 2010 Will McLean Folk Festival for best new Florida Song.
